I have a new car!!!!

So I’ve purchased a new car! I am now driving a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta and I love it! Granted its not my BMW, but it is still very very cool. Although compared to what I was driving this is great! No longer does it rain inside my car when it rains out side, The seat belts are all in working condition, The fuel gage actually works, the brakes don’t make an oily burning smell, the windshield isn’t cracked, the car itself doesn’t have a funky smell that is impossible to get out (I think it was rain water) the interior isn’t falling to pieces! yay I love my car! I do love my car for reasons besides it being the explorer.. And I am glad that I did have that to fall back on.. But man. Anyways, so my photos are being displayed and I am really frustrated with the gallery that is displaying them.. They never asked me for any information on cost or how they were produced so under my pictures it says “Mallory Digital photography Price On Request” I was so pissed off when I saw that! First of all THEY AREN’T DIGITAL. Secondly I tried to call the woman in charge like five times and she never returned my calls. Oh how I am angry. Oh well. So now that I have bought my car and finished getting everything on display I have had some down time and I really don’t know what to do with myself… It doesn’t help that like everyone has been super busy this week.. So I’ve just been sitting around dwelling on not so positive things that are going on with some friends.. grrrrr.. Without going into detail, people can really be stupid. So I typically dwell on things while I surf the internet and listen to music.. And now I have a huge list of things I want to buy, including a slew of cds I want to check out.. So many good bands are coming out with new stuff!! (BEN FOLDS!!, Coldplay, The Foo Fighters, Weezer? (dunno if that one will be good..) Reel Big Fish, and I’m still waiting for that Tool album to come out.. ) I have also lined up a couple concerts to go to in the next little while.. I’m going to go see Third Eye Blind this Saturday, and then the Violent Femmes on Tuesday (for free! If anyone wants to go let me know its gonna be fun) I am really excited for the summer to start I think things will go back to normal, if not I think they will change for the better, if nothing else at least there will be more stuff to do (even if it is just going to the farmers market or something like that). Its just right now I feel like there is nothing to do in Salt Lake and its kind of driving me insane. I think I might go check out a couple galleries tomorrow just so I can feel alive.. If that makes any sense. Well kiddos, this blog is kind of taking a weird twist so I think I am going to end it now.. Oh but first! Tonight’s the night

So tonight is the big night, My pictures are going to be on display at a gallery! I am so stoked! Hopefully the public will also like them, but if not oh well. I already feel great because somebody is actually willing to hang them on a wall. This whole ordeal has been very gratifying and for the first time I actually feel like a photographer and not just like a student. I don’t really know what will happen with this but I’m sure it will be good. I talked to my aunt today, she came to my store. It was really nice to see her, it was the first time I’ve seen her since my father’s funeral. I’ve been thinking a lot about my dad lately, I think its because its my parent’s wedding anniversary today. I have been so busy lately yet I don’t know what to post about. ooh tomorrow I am going to go test drive cars with Jen and I think it should be fun. I am going to test drive a jetta, scion, hybrid civic, and Toyota prius. I would really like to get a hybrid but I’m not sure if I can really afford it, especially since I really don’t have a down payment, only a POS ford explorer as a trade in. I’ll probably only get like 800 ish for it. But I guess we shall see what happens. So I would like to point out that Nobody ever comments on my blog except jen I mean com’on people.. Lets comment already. Unless nobody is reading. Which is probably what is really going on here. Oh I have a song of the week this week! Its called Motorcycle drive by- its by Third Eye Blind. Third Eye Blind is a really funny band because their self titled CD is probably one of my most favorite cds ever, but I really hate everything that they put out after that. If you want to check them out my favorite songs are the last two songs~ Motorcycle Drive by and The God of Wine.. I really love the lyrics to those two songs. And life barrels on like a runaway train

Sorry I haven’t posted in awhile, I have been super busy and really haven’t had any time. But let me update you on a few things. First of all my work was accepted to the New Visions Gallery and will be on display this Friday for the gallery stroll (I think) So everyone go check it out! The pictures that were accepted were the yellow staircase at the slc library and the picture of Charlie chows. To my understanding they will be there for a month and if they are selected by somebody.. Then I will have a showing of my own? I’m not too clear on what’s going on and its really hard to get ahold of the gallery director.. Anyways my friends and I are all going to the stroll on Friday if anyone wants to go just email or call me. As for the car, I am having some banking issues so I’m not positive on whether or not I’ll be able to get it. It is so infuriating!! Nobody will accept me because I only have like 20 months worth of credit and they require 24 or so. But I HAVE GOOD CREDIT. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Wells Fargo called me yesterday and told me that I should be able to do it if I have co-signer so I guess we will see what happens. Nothing Creative Today (this is what I title things when I can’t think.. )

Okay So Someday I will start posting pictures again.. Oh how that seemed like such a fun idea.. But yeah currently I have been too busy to post let alone scan and post pictures.. But here is an update on everything.. I submitted my work to the New Visions Gallery on Saturday and am really nervous about the whole thing. It was a royal pain in the ass to even submit it.. I had to go to like 4 different places that were impossible to find, and ended up submitting it a day late (the lady said it was okay though.. phew!) So everybody cross your fingers! I have all of the files on CD if anybody wants to see them. I’ve posted most of them on this site though, you just have to look at the past two months to see them. I’m sure that there is some way for me to make a little “pictures” link or something but I have yet to figure that out. Anywho I test drove The Car and am going to purchase it this week. I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!! If you want a ride just post in the comments (Since NOBODY EVER COMMENTS). Speaking of purchases, I bought an iPod this weekend and it is really cool. If you are looking for an MP3 player I would highly suggest it. Its so cute and handy. I bought a thing that lets me play my wiped on the radio.. Like I just have to tune it to a certain frequency and it plays my ipod.. Its really cool. hmmm I found out that an old friend of mine is getting married.. That’s weird. It makes me feel really REALLY old.. As long as nobody is having kids I guess I’m okay. Well kids I had better go.. Have a good’un
