Amber is the color of your energy

What does that mean? Amber is the color of my energy? Like… My aura is amber? I used to know a girl who could see auras.. But I don’t want to go into that… Good times.. Well Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah. I hope your holidays were (and are going) well. Things here went pretty good. Christmas day was by far the most relaxing, lazy day I’ve had in a long time. I received Scrubs season 2, and I watched an entire disk (seven episodes) in one sitting. Yes. I am disgusting. Anyways, the most memorable moment from Christmas was when Mikey opened his gift from me. Mikey and I have a long standing tradition of wrapping each others gifts in the most insane way possible. This year I convinced him that I was breaking the tradition and not doing anything crazy (the fool!) So I wrapped a t-shirt that he wanted and placed it under the tree. Little did he know, I had also purchased Futurama (season one) for him. After wrapping it in about 10 layers of gift wrap, I placed it into a box filled with liquid insulation. For the first time in history, We had to use a hacksaw. Needless to say, I won that competition. Besides Christmas not a whole lot is going on, Just been living it up before school starts up again (uuggghhhh!!!) Work is still awesome, my job is great and the hours are even better. Next week they are sending me to Las Vegas to be officially trained, which will be pretty cool. Sooo If you need to get a hold of me on the 3rd or 4th, try my cell, because I won’t be home.. My first business trip! I’m really excited and nervous, but oh well whatever happens happens right? Anyways kiddos, I better get going, but HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Random Thoughts..

So I have decided to lose weight again.. so I’ve been going to the gym religiously lately (I’ve gone 14 days in a row! woo hoo go me!) Anyways while working out there is a wide variety of tvs to watch while burning calories. While looking around at the gym and watching various TV’s I have thought the following things:

-Why did No Mercy have to be a one hit wonder?
-When did Tyra Banks get her own show?
-Ugh I hate Fox news
-I wonder if people run next to me to make themselves feel better about their pace…
-Why are you talking to me? I AM EXCERCISING NO BREATH FOR TALKING

-WHY DOES RELIENT K FOLLOW ME EVERYWHERE I GO?
-Trainers should not shamelessly flirt with their trainees
-I freaking hate my drawing teacher
-I’m so glad Sean Hannity isn’t on
-HEE!! Doctor Phil! People really watch that?
-Judge Judy is still on?
-Why are they showing a Temptations music video?

Today is the last day of my drawing class! WOO HOO NO MORE DRAWING FOR A WHOLE MONTH!! hee I’m so excited for this break. I’m going to spend the break going to the gym and maybe working at my old place of employment The UPS Store. I’m pretty excited to go back, I really miss working there sometimes. I don’t really have a lot to post about today… Hmmm Ben Lee is my music mate for the day (Sorry Dave!) I’ve been listening to Awake is the New Sleep a lot lately, and I have to say, “Ache for you” is an awesome song and I love the lyrics. That’s all. Stop judging me. I CAN IDENTIFY WITH IT OKAY? Geez. Okay this post is strange so I am going to prematurely end it.. But I hope you al have a good’un!

Say Goodbye

A lot has happened since my last post– I’ve been pretty busy.. Also I’m not sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours a day anymore… Yes, I have left my desk job for a new part time position. I now work for Icee (that’s right, Icee! THE FROZEN BEVERAGE COMPANY) as a secretary/admin assistant. Now I know you’re all thinking that this is a bad idea, because I went from one admin job to another, but believe me, You’re wrong. I work mon-fri from 8-noon, leaving the rest of my day to do whatever I’d like. That’s right, the world is my playground and its friggin sweet. It will be especially sweet next semester, I will be able to take daytime classes instead of night classes, which will be really nice. I’m really excited to be able to put a lot of time into my classes and to make school the number one priority in my life. I’ve been at Icee for just over a week and so far its been really great. Everyone is really nice, and so far I’ve understood almost everything that they’ve taught me. I’ve mostly been processing paperwork and filing, but its nice to have an understanding of what I’m doing, at my old job I had no clue due to my inexperience and their lack of training. School is also going well, the semester ends for me this week which is bittersweet, as is the end of every semester. I’m happy to be rid of school stress but I’ll miss the friends I’ve made this semester. I’m pretty sure I’ll see some of them next semester but I know that won’t be the case with everyone. Oh well though C’est la vie I guess.
So since I’ve last posted I have run into at least 10 people from high school, including really good friend who I thought I’d never see again, it was really fun running into her- I also spent some time in Salt Lake with some other friends that randomly called me up to hang out, it was a lot of fun. Its funny how you don’t realize how much you miss people until you see them again. blah now I’m getting nostalgic. Anyways.. As I’m sure you are aware, the holidays are fastly approaching, and I have no clue what to get ANYBODY. So please let me know what you want. Hmmm What else is going on…. OH! THE MARATHON! The girls night group has decided to run a Marathon and I’m supposed to tell everyone about it! (That way if I decide to back out, I wont because I will feel foolish and you will all know that I am a big failure) It should be cool, (and exhausting) I’m really excited about it. Well Kiddies, I have to go draw a self portrait.. Ugh…
