There goes my hero…

September 24, 2007

It’s Monday morning and I have decided to return to the world of working and going to school. Depressing as it may be, the following things are keeping me in good spirits.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Do I have a Wii Yet? Because Oh. My. Gosh.

Heroes season premiere is TONIGHT. Featuring Sark. (that link cracked me up for some reason.)

The Photo Club is planning a trip to New York.

8 Months from now, I will be in Europe.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have reports to file.

Still the same ‘ol decent lazy eye

Thursday I went on hiatus, I didn’t go to class, and I barely went to work. Today is Sunday and I still feel like I am on vacation.

While you may think that it is fun to feel like you’re on vacation in the middle of a semester, you are wrong. I am being completely irresponsible and I just don’t care. It’s puzzling that I care so much about not caring, because I still do nothing to remedy the situation. woe. is. me.

The irresponsibility is not only limited to my school work, I also have given up on being healthy in most ways. I haven’t gone to the gym, I keep eating cookies, and I bought 2 pairs of pants that I don’t need yesterday.

If you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go take a nap. Hope you like the new look of the site.

There is no you, There is only me.

I thought once I bought a laptop computer I would blog every day. Boy howdy, I was wrong. It seems like this may be the busiest semester to date, hopefully I don’t flunk out of all my classes.

For the record? I haven’t been to the gym since the day I proclaimed to go 4 times a week.

I also gave up my no caffeine vow. I am still however soda free (for almost 2 months now thank you)

mmmm Coffee. Warm delicious, life giving coffee. It’s going to turn my teeth yellow, make my hair fall out and secure my place in hell, but its 9 am and I’ve been awake for almost four hours. And I still have another ten to go. Then its time for homework. Ugh that’s depressing. Stop talking about it.

Speaking of homework, are any of you digital artists? because um, I am not so good at creating images. I miss the dark room terribly.

Speaking of Photo-graphy, if you’re interested the first photo club meeting of the semester is TODAY in about 57 minutes. Can’t make it? NO PROBLEMO! just go to www.uofuphotoclub.com I need to find a message board and maybe create a new layout for the page. I should probably do that now…

Sorry about the randomness of this blog. But um its my blog and I’ll do what I want.

My love I love to stay here

Since my plans fell through tonight I thought I’d take some time out and blog since I haven’t done it for a while. I created a masthead. Yeah.. It’s ugly. I’m hoping in time I’ll come up with something cool, but until then just enjoy its purpley awesomeness.

ANYWAY

Lisa and Blake are proud parents this week and it’s blowing my mind over and over.

I’ve been thinking about my dear friend Lisa a lot lately, and I’ve re-realized how happy I am to know her and have her in my life. It’s always good to have friends who you want to be. I’ve gone through life thinking about what I want to do with myself: get my Bachelors, then move away to get my Masters, Work in my chosen profession, meet a cool yet fun guy to marry, have kids in my late twenties etc etc.

I never realized it until this past week that Lisa is living the life that I want to live. And that? is awesome. I’m so glad to have her as a friend.

And SO excited for Nora.

Congrats you guys!

Hey girl, is he everything you wanted in a man?

This weekend has been awesome.

I need to start blogging more often so I can just tell random stories, but I don’t think that will happen any time soon. Blogging sporadically is sort of hard because you always feel like you have so much to say but when you finally sit down to do it, all of your ideas vanish from your memory and you are left with nothing to talk about except how you feel like you need to blog… So instead, here is a list of things going on in my life in case you were wondering.

1) I am dating someone, He is very nice, and I’m rather fond of him. And now I’m embarrassed, so that’s all I’m going to say.
2) I’m the Secretary for the photo club and I get to maintain the website. It’s exciting. We’re gonna plan a trip. And show our work. It’s all very awesome.
3) I have resolved to go to the gym at least on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Because have you seen me lately? Damn.
4) Yesterday was the BEST SATURDAY EVER Part Two, Becca’s Birthday Edition. It was fun. I am so glad it is no longer May. Also, I’m really glad that things are finally getting back to normal. Despite the never ending drama that refuses to leave me alone.
5) Today I am getting my car detailed, and I’m very excited about that.
6) I’m also doing laundry, which really needs to be done.
7) I am pretty sure I want to move to Seattle. I went there for a short trip last weekend, and I’ve never felt so at home in a city. With grad school coming up, I’m seriously considering Washington as one of my options.
8) I don’t have enough time for anything and have basically given up sleep… So if you see me and my eyes are all bloodshot and red, I know. I know.
9) I haven’t consumed any sort of soda pop for like 7 weeks. I’ve never felt better. Sugar? does not like my body. Also? I’m not nearly as tired as i thought i would be. however…
10) I have found a new love for coffee and tea. Yum.

Okay that’s all I have in my brain currently… now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go come up with a 20 minute presentation due in approximately 48 hours…
